The Active Sheffield Challenge is part of
The People’s Movement physical activity
campaign, designed to encourage people
in Sheffield to increase their physical activity
levels for improved health and well-being.
Being physically active is not just for those
serious about sport or going to the gym.
Fun activities, such as dancing, not only
help to keep you healthy, they are great
fun too!
This spring and summer, we are looking
for people who live or work in Sheffield
and have just started to be active or have
become more active. Let us know and
you may win a great prize!
Who Can Enter?
Nominate yourself or someone that you
know in any of the categories.
• Categories include:
- Group or Team (4 or more people)
- Family
- Older Person (60 plus)
- Children/Young People (0-17)
- Adult (18-59)
- Active School
(requires whole school approach)
Entries must be based on achieving an
increase in physical activity during the
Challenge period from 26 March
to 7 September 2007.
How To Enter
• Enter yourself or nominate someone else
who has embraced a more ‘active’ lifestyle
• Enter once you have become more active
on a regular basis
• Submit one entry form per individual or group
• If you need to, use a separate piece
of paper to answer the 6 questions listed
on the entry form
• Enter in any of the following ways:
- Online: online entry form
- Drop off at Sheffield Town Hall
(Reception on Pinstone Street)
- Drop off at any library in Sheffield
- Any *leisure facility listed below
- By post:

Deadline For Entries
Entries must be delivered or postmarked
no later than Friday, 19 October 2007.
All entrants must agree to their information
and photographs being used as part of our
publicity.
