Talk to your GP first.

If you have any health concerns, see your doctor before increasing your level of physical activity. If you suffer from arthritis, for example, your doctor or physiotherapist can tell you if there are any activities or exercises you should avoid.?

Active chores around your home and garden or work, can make a simple exercise routine... These can help you maintain strength and flexibility. This, in turn, will help with balance and coordination and reduce your likelihood of accidents and falls.?

Walking, playing golf, swimming and similar exercise. These kinds of activities will give you that extra capacity to get through the day with less tiredness and effort.

As you grow older, don't let your physical abilities or your attitude stand between you and an active life. Active living can improve your quality of life and help you to remain independent.
